Hash verification archive and file archive

DASon keeps two separate archives with their own allowances: the hash verification archive for verifiability and the file archive for the PDF files.

  1. The hash verification archive stores a hash value with metadata for each issued certificate, but no file. It lets a certificate be verified through the verification form: the entries are compared with the hash. It is not publicly viewable.
  2. The file archive stores a certificate's PDF file, generated or uploaded.
  3. Counting in the hash verification archive: every issued certificate counts once immediately, even if it later expires, is revoked, replaced or archived. The counter only drops on deletion. A certificate regenerated after a correction counts again, the old version stays.
  4. Counting in the file archive: every certificate with a stored PDF file counts once, regardless of status. Certificates without a file, training attachments and invoices do not count.
  5. A check through the form never counts.
  6. You book more space under Plan & usage in the Manage subscription section under Add-ons: hash verification archive +10,000 certificates (EUR 9 per month), +50,000 certificates (EUR 19) or file archive block +5,000 files (EUR 19), each net. The blocks can be booked several times.

Neither archive ever blocks. When capacity is used up, DASon only warns and certificates are still created and archived. In the Business plan both archives are unlimited.
